Sundae Brew is looking for day time Baristas.
The Barista is responsible for serving all products with individualized attention towards each customer and represents Sundae Brew in a friendly and professional manner.
As a cashier, you are responsible for managing money, greeting guests, and providing an all-around great experience for our customers. This position is an average of 20-30+ hours a week with an opportunity for growth and more hours.
Ability to rotate opening shift and day shift. Operate espresso machine and all shop equipment to prepare drinks, varieties of ice cream, baked goods, and air fried food per established procedures and customer requests. Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Maintain appropriate standards of cleanliness throughout the shop. Maintain appropriate storage standards for food items. Communicate with owner regarding all equipment maintenance concerns and non-equipment related issues or concerns. * All other duties as assigned.
Prior food experience preferred, but not required * Prior barista experience preferred but not required * Ability to perform basic math functions * Serve Safe Certification desired, but not required.
Demonstrates excellent communication and “listening” skills * Demonstrates a passion for hospitality and customer service * Responds to opportunities with a sense of urgency and efficiency * Ability to learn quickly and be initiative-taking. *Ability to operate a cash register.
