Compensation: $29,000 – $35,000 – based on experience

Benefits: Includes single or family health care coverage (premiums paid for by the university), basic life insurance, EAP, retirement plan, tuition waiver, annual and sick leave. Optional benefits available: supplemental life, dental, vision, long- term care insurance, flexible spending account, and supplemental retirement plans.

Position Details:

Mayville State University is seeking a full time custodian who will be responsible for performing custodial work and services for routine cleaning and maintenance of buildings. This is a daytime position with occasional evenings and weekends, Monday through Friday, based on qualified applicant. This position will be 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.

Required Competencies:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Minimum qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of material and equipment used in cleaning and upkeep of buildings
• Experience in custodial services
• Experience in floor care for tile floors and carpet cleaning
